This formula is effective for all types of turfgrass plants. Veri-Green Nitrogen Rich Lawn Fertilizer is the best fertilizer to use in the early spring if crabgrass is not present.

Apply in the fall (between mid-August to mid-October), or in spring (between mid-March to mid-May). We do not recommend applying fertilizer when air temperatures are above 85°F.
