A small amount of TruMelt™ ice melter goes a long way! For optimal results, we recommend applying the ice melter using a push-type or handheld spreader. Depending on the amount of ice and snow present, sprinkle the ice melter evenly at a rate of 1 lb. to 4.5 lb. per 540 ft². After application, shovel off any excess slush or water, and reapply to areas with heavy ice accumulation. It’s important to avoid overspreading; apply evenly to ensure effective melting without piling.
